Marty Basch is a local cyclist who has travelled the world on his bike. He has written books decribing his travels and has also published excellent guides to local bike rides in the Mount Washington Valley. His guides cover both mountain biking and road riding. Peter Minnich is another excellent resource for finding local single track and double track in the Mount Washington Valley. Over many years, he has written many articles in The Mountain Ear in a column called "As the Wheels Turn". He has published maps (Mountain Cycle Guide Service) that can be obtained at The Saco Ranger Station/White Mountain National Forest and at Local Bike Shops.
